Are You Having Shoulder Pain?
What is Shoulder Pain?
Our shoulders are made up of three bones: your upper arm bone (humerus), your shoulder blade (scapula), and your collarbone (clavicle). The head of your upper arm bone fits into a rounded socket, also known as the glenoid, in your shoulder blade. A combination of muscles and tendons keeps your arm bone centered in your shoulder socket. Shoulder problems can occur when the tendons become inflamed or tear, instability, arthritis, or a fracture. Less common causes of shoulder pain are bursitis, acute or chronic tendinitis.
With any of the types of shoulder pain, chiropractic can help reduce the pain. Dr. Gallentine will examine your troubled areas and from the findings be able to diagnose and begin treatment.
