On March 22, 2020, Dr. Amy Acton, Director of the Ohio Department of Health, issued a “Stay at Home Order” that reinforced and enhanced the measures she and Governor Mike DeWine previously issued to help deter the spread of COVID-19. This Order will become effective on 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020 and directs Ohio citizens to stay at home except for attendance at essential activities, essential governmental functions, or to participate in essential businesses and operations. Sections 5 and 7 allow Ohioans to leave their houses to work for or obtain healthcare and public health services, which would include chiropractic services.
We have implemented the following measures including:
Following social distancing guidelines
We have hand sanitizer and sanitizing products readily available for employees and customers
We have implemented operating hours for patients over the age of 60 and patients deemed high risk due to pre-existing conditions; these hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00AM to 9:00AM and 2:00PM to 3:00PM
We have removed some of our seating in our reception and therapy area
We have added additional therapy area to increase separation of patients during their treatment
Above our already stringent sanitizing procedures, we are cleaning tables before each patient begins treatment.
Require non-patients, where appropriate, to wait in the car.
