Cincinnati Tiger Cubs Get a Visit from the Chiropractor!

Cincinnati Zoo Tiger Cub Gets Adjusted!

Cincinnati Zoo had a visitor this past week from a chiropractor to adjust the tiger cubs that were unable to lift their heads. These tiger cubs were born within the last two weeks and are continuing to grow at a steady pace. Unfortunately, one of the tiger cubs was having difficulty raising its head and the zoo sought out chiropractic treatment.

The Cincinnati Zoo reached out to a local chiropractor and three adjustments later, the zoo has stated it’s difficult to see a difference between #1 and its litter mates. The tiger cub' neck and spine are back in place and the cub is eating well.

According to the chiropractor, the cub’s top cervical bone (C1) was out of alignment. Roughly 90-95% of our body’s nerve impulses travel through the vertebra, it’s essential to have proper body function in the C1 region.

Chiropractic improves not only human bodies to function properly but in animals alike as well. Dr. Gallentine treats a wide variety of injuries to help his patients return to their "normal & healthy functioning self."

Cincinnati Zoo has stated that this was their first time calling in a chiropractor, but it has a long history of collaborating with medical experts from outside the Zoo.
