Sports Injuries & Chiropractic

With summer about half way over, many high schools and universities are starting their training and conditioning for fall sports.

The more commonly injured areas of the body are the ankles, knees, shoulders, elbows, and spine. Be sure to check with coaches and staff that they have an athletic trainer on hand in case of injury. These injuries can cause damage throughout your life. Some of the pain may not appear until months down the road.

Make sure there is an adequate amount of water on hand.

Remember that you should discuss any exercise program with your doctor of chiropractic before undertaking such activities.
