Eating clean starts with buying clean!

Are you trying to eat healthier? Eating healthy starts with buying items that are organic and good for your body. Before you can eat clean you need to buy clean! Basically, you want to make sure what you do buy is not covered with pesticides.

Granted, we understand everyone is on a certain budget so there are fruits and vegetables that are relatively low in pesticides - which we agree buy these and just make sure to clean the produce and vegetables really well before using or eating. Now, there defiantly are foods that WE RECOMMEND buying organic - these are called the dirty dozen! The worst on the list include apples, celery, and strawberries.

We also STRONGLY RECOMMEND BUYING LOCAL! Why not support our local farmers and buy their produce and vegetables - be sure to check out the farmers market for the "in season" items. Let's support our local communities while eating & buying healthy!

Here is a helpful chart to reference on your next trip to the market -->
