Finally time to bring out the sweaters and jackets, grab a cup of coffee to warm up, and watch all those fall sports. With fall comes all those seasonal flavors for drinks, desserts, and event scents for your home. You probably guessed it, I'm talking about pumpkins.

Pumpkins have many uses to decorate, to carve, to bake, to steam, to add to dinner dishes, and ofcourse for all those drinks and desserts. Pumpkins can be very beneficial for you. As you can see below they provide a great source of beta-caratene, beta-cryptoxanthin, rich in b-complex, and have a rich source of minerals.

Next time, when you go to carve your pumpkin keep the pumpkin and the seeds and start to enjoy those health benefits. Pumpkin seeds are a simple snack to make and you can add different seasonings and see which you like best.
